Whenever binary blobs are present in the filesystem (i.e. fetched,
regardless of whether they are up-to-date or not) we consider the Zephyr
build as tainted. In order to ensure that it is marked as so, add a
Kconfig `select` statement whenever this is the case.

In preparation for the handling of taint flags in zephyr_module.py, move
blob-processing code from the west command to it.

In order to ensure that builds properly reflect the use of binary blobs,
it is important to markt the build as tainted. For that purpose
introduce two new Kconfig options that ultimately will be reflected in
the build image itself.

The commit 8259931fce ("xcc-clang: Do not used unavailable options")
has a side-effect that builds with xcc default to use -fno-pie. This
is not a supported compiler option for xcc, resulting in failing builds.
Use same configuration for xcc as is in place for xcc-clang, and
do not use -fno-pie.

Samples testcases should start with 'sample'. Some testcases
start with 'samples'.
This commit rename these testcases.

Some test cases in the module `samples` have not a name of this module.
This change adds the name `sample` to these test cases.

SoF pins threads to specific cores and don't need them to be executed in
multiple cores. This options allows Zephyr to do cache optimizations
during context switches.

The update result is supposed to indicate success only after a firmware
update has been applied. The bug here was that the success was reported
already when the update image download was done.

This PR allows the user to add symbols to the nocache
section. The use for this could be as follows
zephyr_linker_sources_ifdef(CONFIG_NOCACHE_MEMORY
NOCACHE_SECTION
nocache.ld
)
nocache.ld (as shown below) can define additional
symbols to go into the nocache section
. = ALIGN(4);

Implements a logging backend implementing the mtrace protocol
to relay log messages over SRAM. This protocol is implemented
by the SOF Linux driver ("mtrace" debugfs interface).
This implementation follows example of the ADSP HDA logger implemented
in commit 6913da9ddd ("logging: cAVS HDA based logger").

Also clarify Kconfig documentation that the semantics of the windows can
vary depending on which host<->DSP communication scheme is in use.

Current ztress design supports both timer context and thread
context. The timer context always uses the first element of
several global array variables like exec_cnt[] and backoff[].
But progress_timeout() is using the last element of exec_cnt[]
to calculate the progress of timer context. It is not right.

reset registers from the RCU peripheral. It can be used to restore
peripherals to their initial state when initializing a device.
