The Raspberry Pi Pico watchdog is now supported, this adds a note to
the release notes with this information.

When we moved to gpio_dt_spec forgot to remove the older
fields used for gpio related access. Remove them as they
are used by the driver anymore.

This commit adds the `qemu_cortex_a53`, which is an MMU-based platform,
as an integration platform for the C++ subsystem tests.
This ensures that the `test_global_static_ctor_dynmem` test, which
verifies that the dynamic memory allocation service is functional
during the global static object constructor invocation, is tested on
an MMU-based platform, which may have a different libc heap
initialisation path.
In addition to the above, this increases the overall test coverage
ensuring that the C++ subsystem is functional on an MMU-based platform
in general.

This commit changes the C++ subsystem test, which previously was only
being run with the minimal libc, to be run with all the mainstream C
libraries (minimal libc, newlib, newlib-nano, picolibc).

This commit adds a test to verify that the dynamic memory allocation
service (the `new` operator) is available and functional when the C++
static global object constructors are invoked called during the system
initialisation.

This commit changes the invocation of the picolibc malloc heap
initialisation function such that it is executed during the POST_KERNEL
phase instead of the APPLICATION phase.
This is necessary in order to ensure that the application
initialisation functions (i.e. the functions called during the
APPLICATIION phase) can make use of the libc heap.

When an I2C transaction completes, the driver should clear all the FIFO
status. Otherwise, it has the chance to break the operation of the next
transaction. This commit sets the CLR_FIFO bit in the SMBFIF_CTS
register to clear all the FIFO status at the beginning of an I2C
transaction.

in that in some platforms the device getting selected for the

Invert the physical address given to pcie_ctrl_region_translate() to
match the PCI BAR layout. Previously, physical addresses for memory
space BAR were exposed to bit 3 (prefetchable bit) and 2 (1 type bit) of
the header.

Check that `SYS_INIT_NAMED` allows multiple instances of the same
initialisation function, as long as names are unique.

Add a variant of `SYS_INIT` that is explicitly given a name, instead of
using the function name. This allows multiple `SYS_INIT` entries to use
the same initialisation function, without needing the `__COUNTER__`
hack in `Z_SYS_NAME`.
The `__COUNTER__` hack is undesirable as it makes it impossible to
reconstruct the name of the `struct init_entry` instance from the macro
parameters.

Rename struct bt_micp to bt_mic_ctlr as it is only
used ofr microphone controller now.
This also allow cleanup of the bt_micp struct, thus
removing the common internal micp_internal.h header file
and reducing the size of the implementation by not
using a union of the structs.
