927420a423 tests: sched: Add busy threads for SMP
The sched benchmark is designed for systems with a single
CPU. Otherwise, the timestamps would be wrong when the partner
thread is scheduled on another CPU, i.e. negative values:

```
unpend   63 ready   62 switch -16562 pend 18937 tot 2500 (avg  928)
```

When the system allows for multiple CPUs, spawn a non-preemptible
thread to keep the other CPUs busy.

aeaddd70b7 tests: Fix IRQ locking in sched benchmark
Corrects an issue that was introduced when the interrupt
locking/unlocking was added to the 'sched' benchmark by
unlocking the interrupts before the context switch done by
k_yield(), but after the call to z_unpend_first_thread().

Fixes PR #81050

cedd36106b kernel: Begin abstracting out _sched_spinlock
In a uniprocessor system, _sched_spinlock may not need to be
held in all the same cases that it does in a multiprocessor
system. Removing those unnecessary usages can lead to better
performance on UP systems. In the case of uncontested taking
and giving of a semaphore, this can be as much as a +14%
performance gain.

0b90fd5adf samples, tests, boards: Switch main return type from void to int
As both C and C++ standards require applications running under an OS to
return 'int', adapt that for Zephyr to align with those standard. This also
eliminates errors when building with clang when not using -ffreestanding,
and reduces the need for compiler flags to silence warnings for both clang
and gcc.

Most of these changes were automated using coccinelle with the following
script:

@@
@@
- void
+ int
main(...) {
	...
-	return;
+	return 0;
	...
}

Approximately 40 files had to be edited by hand as coccinelle was unable to
fix them.

79e6b0e0f6 includes: prefer <zephyr/kernel.h> over <zephyr/zephyr.h>
As of today <zephyr/zephyr.h> is 100% equivalent to <zephyr/kernel.h>.
This patch proposes to then include <zephyr/kernel.h> instead of
<zephyr/zephyr.h> since it is more clear that you are including the
Kernel APIs and (probably) nothing else. <zephyr/zephyr.h> sounds like a
catch-all header that may be confusing. Most applications need to
include a bunch of other things to compile, e.g. driver headers or
subsystem headers like BT, logging, etc.

The idea of a catch-all header in Zephyr is probably not feasible
anyway. Reason is that Zephyr is not a library, like it could be for
example `libpython`. Zephyr provides many utilities nowadays: a kernel,
drivers, subsystems, etc and things will likely grow. A catch-all header
would be massive, difficult to keep up-to-date. It is also likely that
an application will only build a small subset. Note that subsystem-level
headers may use a catch-all approach to make things easier, though.

NOTE: This patch is **NOT** removing the header, just removing its usage
in-tree. I'd advocate for its deprecation (add a #warning on it), but I
understand many people will have concerns.

4344e27c26 all: Update reserved function names
Update reserved function names starting with one underscore, replacing
them as follows:
   '_k_' with 'z_'
   '_K_' with 'Z_'
   '_handler_' with 'z_handl_'
   '_Cstart' with 'z_cstart'
   '_Swap' with 'z_swap'

This renaming is done on both global and those static function names
in kernel/include and include/. Other static function names in kernel/
are renamed by removing the leading underscore. Other function names
not starting with any prefix listed above are renamed starting with
a 'z_' or 'Z_' prefix.

Function names starting with two or three leading underscores are not
automatcally renamed since these names will collide with the variants
with two or three leading underscores.

Various generator scripts have also been updated as well as perf,
linker and usb files. These are
   drivers/serial/uart_handlers.c
   include/linker/kobject-text.ld
   kernel/include/syscall_handler.h
   scripts/gen_kobject_list.py
   scripts/gen_syscall_header.py

ec554f44d9 kernel: Split reschdule & pend into irq/spin lock versions
Just like with _Swap(), we need two variants of these utilities which
can atomically release a lock and context switch. The naming shifts
(for byte count reasons) to _reschedule/_pend_curr, and both have an
_irqlock variant which takes the traditional locking.

Just refactoring.  No logic changes.

aa3c9b7f1e tests/benchmarks: Add scheduler microbenchmark
Useful tool for performance work that removes interaction with other
APIs and thread state. The best part is that it doesn't rely on timer
interrupt delivery and so works with -icount even on existing qemu
versions and produces deterministic output.
