Add support for realloc (and realloc_aligned) into the multi heap lib,
where the buffer sent in will either be reused (maybe shrinked),
or enlarged by allocating on any of the matching heaps of the multi heap.

Use `do { ... } while (false)' instead of `do { ... } while (0)'.
Use comparisons with zero instead of implicitly testing integers.
Use comparisons with NULL instead of implicitly testing pointers.
Use comparisons with NUL instead of implicitly testing plain chars.
Use `bool' instead of `int' to represent Boolean values.
Use `while (true)' instead of `while (1)' to express infinite loops.

There is no point in having heap validation enabled but without asserts,
as nothing is reported to the user.
Add this dependency to make sure this option is useful.

Split heap-validate.c into smaller chunks. We have been adding all kind
of new APIs under this file and building it unconditionally whether
those APIs are needed/used or not. Many of those APIs have nothing to do
with the validation part.
